On Friday, Nov. 29, the day after Thanksgiving, at 10:00 a.m., a charitable event that may become an annual tradition will be held along Cove Road – the first-ever “Lyme Town Turkey Trot.” The event, designed to benefit a local charity during the holidays, consists of a walk, run, bike (or trot) down Cove Road, starting from the parking lot of the Hamburg Road Yacht Club. Participants are encouraged to bring a canned good and a $10 donation to the Shoreline Soup Kitchens and Pantries. To see the flyer, click here.
