During periods of extreme heat, there are two cooling centers in or near Lyme where residents can go to find some relief from the hot weather:

Lymes’ Senior Center
26 Town Woods Road, Old Lyme
- Mondays – Thursdays, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Summer hours)
- Fridays, 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. (Summer hours)
