Good afternoon,
We currently have numerous road closures in town due to trees down with wires involved. Eversource crews are in town working to clear roads and make them safe for travel. As always, Eversource follows a “Make Safe” approach during storms — first clearing roadways and confirming no electrical hazards remain, then shifting focus to restoration.
Lyme currently has around 300 customer outages, per Eversource. Strong winds and rain will continue through tomorrow morning, tapering off in the afternoon.
Current road closures:
- Gungy Road @ Grassy Hill
- Beaverbrook Road @ #288 and #183
- Salem Road @ #90
Please avoid these areas and use caution throughout town. Updates to follow.
Stay safe, Lyme.
