The Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (RiverCOG) will be holding a series of household hazardous waste (HHW) collection events in our area on select Saturdays from April through October. Lyme residents are encouraged to use any or all of these events to dispose of their HHW materials. The Lyme Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at Lyme Town Hall to hear and act on the following matters:
- An application to amend zoning regulations by Edward M. Bombaci, 131-2 Salem Road, Map 46 Lot 3, requesting an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 23.3, Existing nonconforming lots; and an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 2.2, Definitions.
- An application to amend zoning regulations by William T. Koch Jr., Avenue B, Map 40.4 Lot 4, requesting an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 23.3, Existing nonconforming lots.
- The cover letter sent by the Lyme Zoning Enforcement Officer (ZEO) to the P&Z Commission, neighboring municipalities and regional organizations regarding the public hearing on the Bombaci amendment request can be read here.

The Assessor’s normal office hours at Town Hall are from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
