Lyme Recreation Commission Announces Kickball, Pickleball & Youth Tennis Programs

The Lyme Recreation Commission will be offering kickball, pickleball and youth tennis programs in April and May.

2023 RiverCOG Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events

The Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (RiverCOG) will be holding a series of household hazardous waste (HHW) collection events in our area on select Saturdays from April through October.  Lyme residents are encouraged to use any or all of these events to dispose of their HHW materials. Lyme Recreation Sponsors After-School Programs on Feb. 17

On Friday, Feb. 17, Lyme Recreation Commission is sponsoring two, free “School’s Out” after-school programs for Lyme School students.  One program is called “Games in the Gym” and the other is an “Interactive Theater Workshop.”

Lyme Recreation Commission Offers Free Swim Lessons in May

The Lyme Recreation Commission is offering free swim lessons for Lyme residents and Lyme School families at the Valley Shore YMCA on the following dates:  Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.; and Monday, May 23, and Wednesday, May 25, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  For more information on the free lessons, click here to see the flyer.  To register for the lessons, click here.

LYSB Summer Camp Fair on Mar. 30

On Wednesday, Mar. 30, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Lymes’ Youth Service Bureau (LYSB) will hold a Summer Camp Fair on the Lyme-Old Lyme High School Commons, featuring more than 30 local summer camps available for area children of all ages, from PK-12.  To see the flyer, click here.
